The Problem
Screenshots are dumb. No context, no searchability, no way to find that one screenshot from two weeks ago. Power users and AI workflows need structured capture, not pixels.
Research & Insights
Analyzed existing screenshot tools and their limitations. Identified that browser extension constraints create a unique UX canvas requiring speed-first interaction design.
Design Process
Designed for the constrained browser extension canvas. Prioritized speed-first interaction model — capture, extract, organize in minimal steps. Integrated OCR extraction and metadata capture (URL, timestamp, page title).
The Solution
Speed-first Chrome extension with one-click capture, automatic OCR text extraction, URL and metadata tagging, and an organized library for retrieval.
Results & Impact
Shipped and functional. Demonstrates ability to design for constrained platforms with technical integration requirements.
What I Learned
Designing for browser extensions taught me that the tightest constraints often produce the clearest UX decisions. Every pixel matters when your canvas is a popup.
